Allowed modifications

At Timolia, we want to ensure a fair gaming experience for everyone. Instead of listing every single modification, we define clear categories and principles. This way, you always know if your mod is permitted.

Basic Rule: Ignorance is no excuse

The use of modifications is generally at your own risk. Even permitted mods can cause malfunctions in combination with other plugins that may be detected by the anti-cheat system. When in doubt: Use the vanilla client.

Allowed Modifications

All modifications that merely improve performance or are purely cosmetic in nature, without providing a gameplay advantage, are allowed.

  • Performance Optimization: Mods that only increase FPS (e.g., Sodium, Lithium, Iris, FerriteCore, OptiFine).
  • Visual Adjustments: Shaders, cosmetic changes (capes, wings), custom crosshairs, or resource packs.
  • Information Displays (HUDs): Displays for your own values such as FPS, CPS, coordinates, armor durability, effects, or saturation.
  • Well-known Clients: The standard features of popular clients (e.g., LabyMod, Badlion, Lunar, Feather) are generally accepted.

Forbidden Modifications

Any modification that automates gameplay or gives you information/abilities that a vanilla player does not have is strictly prohibited.

Gameplay "Optimizers" & Mechanics

  • Interaction Optimizers: Mods that "optimize" the behavior of items or mechanics (e.g., Crystal, Hotbar, Consumable, or Anchor Optimizers).
  • Automation: Autoclicker, Auto-Totem, Auto-Eat, Schematics, or automatic inventory sorting.
  • Input Manipulation: Macros, double binding, or mods that artificially manipulate click behavior/ping.

Movement & Visibility

  • Movement Cheats: Fly, Speed, Inventory-Move (moving while the inventory is open), Step, or No Slowdown.
  • Visual Cheats: ESP, Radar, Damage Indicator, X-Ray, or minimaps that display players/entities.

Combat Manipulation

  • Combat Automation: Killaura, Multi-Aura, Triggerbot, or Click-Bots.
  • Aiming Aids: AimBot, Aim Assist, or modifications that artificially enlarge or highlight player hitboxes.
  • Reach & Knockback: Reach as well as Velocity or No-Knockback adjustments.

Important Note on 'Optimizers'

There is a difference between Performance Optimizers (allowed) and Gameplay Optimizers (forbidden). If a mod improves your clicks, inventory management, or interaction speed, it will lead to exclusion from the network.

If your mod cannot be clearly assigned above, please contact our Support before using it.

These rules supplement our official Rules – Games.
